The Faithful Gatherer

This work draws from the story of Ruth — a figure remembered for loyalty, humility, and steadfast trust. The act of gathering what remains in the field becomes more than survival; it becomes devotion in motion. Each small bundle lifted is an act of faith that provision will follow effort.

The presence of the bird carrying straw suggests that no contribution is too small to matter. Creation itself participates in the work of gathering — earth and sky cooperating in quiet purpose.

The painting speaks to a broader calling: to gather truth, to gather one another, to gather light wherever it is found. Not all harvests are agricultural. Some are spiritual, relational, or inward.
