I started this as a small plein air study at Rock Canyon, and while I was painting, a father and son walked past wearing the same haircut, similar look, and same color clothes. It reminded me how much we learn from the people who walk ahead of us — and how much I want to be that kind of example providing care, presence, and belonging for my own children and grandchildren.
