This painting of my husband and me was inspired by a phrase from the Book of Mormon, which invites people to have their "hearts knit together in love." Using only two colors, I painted interwoven threads across both of us, visually linking us together like fibers in a woven fabric. Marriage creates that kind of bond — lives, sacrifices, joys, and sorrows slowly becoming intertwined through countless small moments of love and commitment.
